One of the most inspiring story I found that demonstrate the power of dreaming big, hard work and persistent is the story of Ray Krock, the founder of MacDonald Corporation.

I have just finished reading his autobiography book – Grinding It Out.

In the book, he shared how he came up from a very humble beginning into building one of the greatest public franchise food chain in the world – The MacDonal Corporation.

The story goes –

In 1955, after working for over 30 years selling Milk Mixture Machine and other products with nothing much to show for it, the visionary Ray Krock came across the MacDonald brothers. Two brothers running a very successful one store restaurant.

Ray Krock being a visionary could already picture the restaurant duplicating across the US and to cut the story short, after he made a deal with the MacDonald brothers, Ray went to work and he works hard to fulfil the picture he had for MacDonald.

That was 50+ years ago and today MacDonald is a household name across the world with over 35,000 MacDonald restaurants across 100 countries.

Here is the moral of the story.

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve” as stated by Napoleon Hill

The only thing that stand between you and your deepest desire that I found is lack of dreaming big dreams (Your deepest heart desire)

Its always start with a dream.

Here is what personal experience and observation tell me.

A man or woman is as great as the size of his/her dreams. By that I mean, a man action will always be in exact proportion to the size of his/her dreams. It he dreams BIG, he act BIG. If he dreams small, he act small. The size of the dream is what makes the different.

People with no dream pursue nothing. People with small dream give up quickly. People with BIG dreams can overcome any setback, difficulties and challenges that come their way.
